Summary
Software engineer with more than 8 years of experience in software development, server solutions and data mining/data structuring. I worked in a software development company for 2 years, offering infrastructure solutions using Linux, Unix and Windows servers; and installing, configuring and using different solutions.
Later, I started working at Colombia's largest Financial Institution offering analytic, automation, API and web development solutions using tools such as Python, flask, pandas, Javascript, SAS Guide and Hadoop.
My latest and current job took me across the ocean, to Portugal where I've been using python, django, mongodb, postgresql, kubernetes among other tools, with the aim of creating multiple services that meet the needs of the company. I’m very passionate for technology, problem solving and for learning new things every day.

- Server administration, including installation, configuration and use of new technology, software and databases.
- I am fast learner adapt easily to any change.

Primetag (Portugal) – Software engineer – September 2019 to date:
- Django, flask development
- Configuration and Maintenance of UNIX Development & Production servers
- Usage of mysql, postgresql, mongodbSQL, azure cognitive search.
- ETL experience.
Grupo Bancolombia (Colombia) – Software developer – August 2015 to August 2019:
- Data management and report development using SAS and python.
- Process automation using Python
- Usage of Hadoop based deployments (cloudera), SQL, JS and SQL. Etl Experience.
- Web and API development using flask
TSGroup (Colombia) – Systems Analyst – March 2014 to July 2015:
- Responsible of servers deployment and monitoring.
- Involvement in big data related proyects, specifically in the automation of server deployments.
- Installation, configuration and use of software like IBM Websphere Portal and Domino in Linux and Windows
Education
I have an Associate Degree of applied science in computer networking technology and graduated from the National Service of Learning in 2013
Besides that I have a bachelor degree in Engineering informatics, but most of my education has been gained through experience in my different jobs and through research on topics that I'm interested in.

My name is Victor and I'm from Medellin – Colombia, I live in Portugal, I’m passionate about learning new things, reading, playing with arduino and raspberry, running and traveling.
